PRESENTATION

The kitchen is one of the most important areas of any business in Food Service and Hospitality, so staff working in this area must have specific knowledge of procurement, receiving, storage, etc. With this training program in Basic Cooking Techniques Students will be able to learn how to create different Basic Preparations, simple dishes and desserts, as well as preparing, fine-tuning, and stocking, storage and handling of raw materials.

Objectives

  • Get to know the kitchen area and its facilities and the role of the kitchen assistant.

  • Gain knowledge about the food handling and food and nutrition.

  • Study the tmanipulation techniques and preservation of various basic food items.
