PRESENTATION

To talk about Web Accessibility means talking about universal access to the Web, regardless of the type of hardware, software, network infrastructure, language, culture, geographic location, and user capabilities. Based on this concept of accessibility, the Web Accessibility Initiative was launched, known as WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative). This is an initiative developed by the W3C, whose goal is to facilitate access for people with disabilities by developing accessibility guidelines, improving tools for evaluating and fixing web accessibility issues, and carrying out educational and awareness-raising efforts regarding the importance of accessible web design, and breaking new ground in accessibility through research in this area.

Objectives

  • Purchase the tools for the access to the website and its content by everyone in a secure manner.

  • Master hardware and software concepts by creating better network infrastructure.

  • Manage these networks by creating more accessible spaces, regardless of from the disability.
