PRESENTATION

Training in «Graphic and Visual Expression Techniques for Original Graphic Artworks» is an educational program focused on the development of the artistic and technical skills necessary for the creation of original graphic works. Throughout this training session, you will explore various graphic and visual arts techniques, such as the drawing, painting, printmaking, and lithography, with the goal of creating unique works of art. You’ll also learn to experiment with materials and techniques, and to develop your own visual language, and to create works that reflect their personal artistic vision. The program promotes creativity, originality, and mastery of tools and processes artistic skills necessary for the production of original graphic works.

TEACHING UNIT 1. MATERIALS AND MEDIA FOR GRAPHIC EXPRESSION IN ORIGINAL GRAPHIC WORKS
    Graphic expression tools. Supports. Selecting the appropriate tools and supports for different projects. Dry and wet drawing techniques.
TEACHING UNIT 2. GRAPHIC AND VISUAL EXPRESSION TECHNIQUES FOR CREATING SKETCHES FOR ORIGINAL GRAPHIC WORKS
    The line as an element that shapes the image. Constructive, descriptive, and expressive qualities of the line. Techniques for representing the line and its language: sensitivity, movement, space; line: continuous, discontinuous, strokes, modulations, rhythms, thicknesses. Tone and texture in line representation; graphic resources for evaluation. Line and graphic reproduction. The mark as a defining element of the image. Line and mark. The point. Graphic systems and methods of representing space. Additive and subtractive concepts. Colors in graphic design: planning and technique. Application of new technologies.
TEACHING UNIT 3. ANALYSIS OF IMAGE STRUCTURE
    Basic elements of graphic and visual language. Organization of elements in two-dimensional space. Organization of elements in three-dimensional space. Color in graphic representation. Constructive, descriptive, and expressive uses of color. Elements specific to graphic design.
TEACHING UNIT 4. APPLICATION OF VISUAL ART ELEMENTS
    Planning the artistic process. Starting points and preliminary considerations. Adapting the sketch to the specific characteristics of the project. Using the guidelines established in the Original Graphic Work project: Developing sketches and rough drafts. Presenting the final image, simulating the finished work as faithfully as possible. Archiving the generated images.
