TEACHING UNIT 2. ARTISTIC INTRAVAGINAL PRINTMAKING TECHNIQUES
    Characteristics of intaglio printing. Principles of intaglio printing and its graphic effects. Physical aspects. Chemical aspects. Technological aspects. The intaglio printmaking studio. Drawing the intaglio plate. Creating the image on the intaglio plate. Direct intaglio techniques. Indirect intaglio techniques. Additive processes. Materials and techniques. Types of intaglio plates. Color. Creating plates by combining different techniques. Plate protection systems: silvering and chromium plating.
TEACHING UNIT 3. ARTISTIC PLANOGRAPHIC PROCESS

TEACHING UNIT 5. APPLICATION OF TECHNIQUES TO AN ORIGINAL GRAPHIC ART PROJECT

    Behavior of the matrix depending on the material: resistance to light, heat, moisture, insects, acidity, and solvents: Conservation materials. Selection of materials based on the techniques used to create the container. Criteria for selecting materials: type, quality, durability, elasticity, color, and others. Material preparation procedures. Packaging and archiving of matrices.
