PRESENTATION

With this training program in Preparing for International Events you'll be able to navigate the industry and identify and perform the activities necessary for the attendance at trade shows, using the necessary online search and trade show preparation tools and incorporating English terminology specific to the relevant industry. The training is designed to provide you with the skills needed to explore, identify, and prepare effectively to attend international business events, including aspects such as communication, information management, pre-event preparation, the creation and translation of catalogs and sales proposals, etc.

Objectives

  • Identify and carry out the activities necessary for the attendance at trade shows, using the necessary online search tools and resources for preparing for the trade show.

  • Sort different types of events international.

  • Understand and apply strategies for internal and external communication related to contacts made at international events.

  • Create and translate catalogs and promotional offers to be used when attending international events.

  1. Event Categories: trade shows, symposia, conferences, seminars, and others
  2. Identifying the various trade show events using email, the Internet, information from the events themselves, and telephone communication
  3. Fundamentals of the Internet, search engines, web browsers, and types of networks and websites
  4. Selection and Prioritization of Received Information
  5. Using the Internet to Register for and Set Goals for Attending Events

TEACHING UNIT 2. PREPARING TO ATTEND INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

  1. Fundamentals of the English Language in the Context of International Events in the Sector
  2. Identification of related companies for the innovative offering of products sold within these sectors
  3. Preparation and translation of catalogs and sales proposals for the event
  4. Identification and classification of contacts made at trade shows, and internal and external communication
