PRESENTATION

In an increasingly interconnected world facing pressing global challenges, we need the knowledge and vision to contribute to positive change on our planet. Training on Introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to raise awareness and foster understanding of the 17 UN SDGs. Driven by the urgent need to address a multitude of global issues—such as poverty, climate change, and inequality, among many others—the training will provide participants with the essential knowledge and motivation to contribute to the achievement of a sustainable future. It inspires individual and collective action by providing a comprehensive understanding of global challenges and opportunities for a more just and sustainable world.

Objectives

  • Understanding the Fundamentals of Sustainable Development and its assessment methods.

  • Understanding the background and context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Become familiar with the SDGs, its objectives and goals.

  • Understand how they were created y what they promote the SDGs.

  • Analyze the relationship between development, environment y human rights.

  • Reflecting on individual and corporate responsibility in the promotion of sustainable development.

  • Identify specific actions to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and adopt sustainable technologies.
