PRESENTATION

A stand for a book, a poster, a brochure, or a tri-fold It's very important, since it represents the first impression we get of them, and it is what will lead us to whether or not we're interested in delving deeper in the information and content of that material. Therefore, it is essential that the companies specializing in graphic design of these products know how to develop graphic designs based on the initial specifications. This is achieved drawing sketches, selecting and adjusting colors, images, and fonts; creating graphic elements, mockups, and final artwork; using computer tools; preparing estimates based on the specifications of the project and verifying the quality of the finished product.

Objectives

  • Develop instructions for creating graphic products based on requests from hypothetical clients. – Identify the technical parameters for the creation of graphic products.

  • Prepare detailed budgets for graphic design projects, including planning and estimating costs and timelines.

  • Draw freehand sketches of graphic products, using the most appropriate techniques and taking into account the characteristics and specifications of a given product.

  • Develop sketches for the creation of a graphic design project based on hypothetical instructions, using computer-based and/or manual procedures suitable for reproduction.

  • Develop sketches for packaging projects based on hypothetical instructions, using computer-based and/or manual procedures suitable for reproduction.

  • Develop sketches for multimedia projects based on hypothetical instructions, using computer software suitable for editing.
