PRESENTATION

English is spoken by approximately 400 million native speakers and an additional 500 million people who use it as a second language. Today, learning this language is basic and essential in any professional field. Through this course, the student will gain the theoretical and practical foundation needed to use the language effectively, while also strengthening career prospects by communicating fluently in English.

Objectives

  • Write clear and fluent texts in an appropriate style.

  • Present descriptions or arguments clearly and fluently, with a style suited to the context and a logical, effective structure.

  • Participate effortlessly in any conversation or debate, with a strong command of idioms, set phrases, and colloquial expressions.

  • Read with ease virtually all forms of written language, including abstract, structurally or linguistically complex texts such as manuals, specialized articles, and literary works.

  • Understand any type of spoken language, whether in live conversations or broadcast speeches.
