PRESENTATION

The AI Course on Transportation Route Optimization provides specialized training in application of artificial intelligence to improve logistics efficiency. Through these learning units, students will learn starting with the Fundamentals of Route Planning and Transportation until the Implementation of intelligent models, including evolutionary algorithms, swarm techniques, and probabilistic optimization, to design solutions that optimize costs, time, and resources in real-world scenarios.

Objectives

  • Understanding the Logistics principles and factors that affect route efficiency.

  • Analyze how the Artificial intelligence solves complex route-planning problems.

  • Understand and apply heuristics, metaheuristics, evolutionary algorithms, and swarm techniques in logistics.

  • Prepare and treat geospatial data (GIS) y transportation data for optimization models.

  • Integrate Map APIs, positioning systems, and logistics management software.

  • Design solutions that enable the real-time monitoring and dynamic route adjustment.

  • Measure the effectiveness of optimization through metrics and performance analysis.
