PRESENTATION

Prevention of Occupational Hazards is the set of actions and measures aimed at preventing, minimizing, or eliminating the risks that are present in the workplace and that may affect worker safety. Current regulations and today’s society require not only that laws related to this matter be enforced, but that they be applied from the perspective of the new sensitivities social, taking into account, for example, the gender perspective.

Occupational Safety and Health with a Gender Perspective, develops the body of knowledge necessary to understand the national legislation in this area and address preventive measures related to occupational safety and health from a comprehensive perspective, taking into account the gender perspective.

Objectives

  • Learn about the legislation basic occupational safety and health training in our country.

  • Learn about the main models of Occupational Safety and Health Management for which a person may be eligible organization.

  • Analyze the differences on workplace accident rates by gender.

  • To study the gender factors that influence individuals and organizations from an occupational safety and health perspective.

  • Keep in mind the gender perspective that affect occupational safety and health.
