ADDRESSING SEXUAL DIVERSITY Key concepts in sexual and gender diversity Theoretical framework of sexual and gender diversity Characteristics of the LGTBIQA+ community Specific needs and vulnerabilities of the LGTBIQA+ community. UNIT 2. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE LGTBIQA+ COMMUNITY Distinctions between gender inequality and discrimination based on sexual orientation Current context of gender- and sexual orientation-based inequality and discrimination Stigma and discrimination against LGTBIQA+ people Impact on individuals affected by gender- and sexual orientation-based inequality and discrimination Effective protection and redress against discrimination and violence stemming from LGTBIphobia. UNIT 3. MEASURES TO PROMOTE REAL AND EFFECTIVE EQUALITY FOR THE LGTBIQA+ Correction of legal gender markers and alignment of documents for transgender individuals Public policies to promote real and effective equality for transgender people LGTBI Inclusion Plan for businesses Protocol for addressing harassment and violence against LGTBI individuals
