PRESENTATION

This formation of First Aid Procedures prepares you to face emergency situations and provide assistance with critical moments. It's designed with you in mind and your ability to respond effectively when situations arise that pose a risk to people's health or lives.

Throughout the course units, you will acquire fundamental knowledge about the first aid and rescue techniques. You will learn how to activate the emergency system, protect those affected, and perform basic diagnostic tests and consult with medical services whenever necessary.   5. Heart Problems and Loss of Consciousness
  6. Physical and Chemical Burns
  7. Bleeding, fractures, and wounds. How to respond to bleeding. Applying a hand bandage
  8. Poisonings
  9. Heatstroke. Disorders caused by extreme temperatures.
  10. Animal Bites and Stings
  11. Emergency delivery.
  12. Principles of Medication Administration
  13. Rescue and transport of the injured and seriously ill
  14. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Techniques. Stages of CPR

TEACHING UNIT 2. RESPONDING TO EMERGENCIES

  1. Emergencies. Classification
  2. Emissions, leaks, spills, fires, and explosions
  3. Industries with a high incidence of emergencies
