PRESENTATION

The environmental awareness It is an issue of extreme importance today, since human interference with the environment is causing irreparable damage. Therefore, it is essential that raise people's awareness through education and that effective measures be developed to reduce the degradation of nature. The main objective of this educational initiative in Environmental Awareness is to introduce students to the environment and its main problems, both in general and in the workplace, as well as develop proposals to reduce environmental pollution on an individual basis and as applied to the professional activity.

Objectives

  • Understanding the basic aspects that encompass the environment, as well as concepts related to pollution and sustainable development.

  • Understanding the main environmental issues and its consequences.

  • Explain the influence of the urban activity in environmental degradation.

  • Interpreting environmental legislation from the perspective of European level all the way down to the local government.
