General rules for deep foundation design Bearing capacity of a pile in soils: Basic formulation End bearing capacity in granular soils using analytical solutions End bearing capacity in cohesive soils using analytical solutions End bearing capacity in soils. In-situ tests UNIT 2. FLOATING PILES IN SOILS, PILES IN ROCK, AND PILE GROUPS Skin friction capacity in granular soils using analytical solutions Skin friction capacity in cohesive soils using analytical solutions Skin friction capacity in granular and cohesive soils through in-situ tests Bearing capacity of piles in rock Bearing capacity of a group of piles UNIT 3.
