Liquefaction Structure classification Seismic activity considerations in projects. Seismic vertical action, associated mass, and seismic action combinations UNIT 2. ANALYSIS METHODS Introduction to modal analysis Seismic-resistant design methodology Static linear analysis (I). Equivalent lateral force method Dynamic linear analysis (II). Spectral and modal-spectral analyses Nonlinear analyses. The pushover analysis and the time-history method with accelerograms UNIT 3. SEISMIC-RESISTANT DESIGN.
