PRESENTACIÓN

The Photovoltaic Solar Energy course provides you with the essential skills to enter a booming sector with growing job demand by giving you an in-depth understanding of solar photovoltaics. In addition, you will master the production of electrical energy in photovoltaic plants using tools such as the PVSYST software, which will allow you to perform accurate energy simulations. Objetivos

  • Knowledge of the fundamental physics of photovoltaic solar energy and the technique for measuring the solar resource of a site.

  • Study and analysis of the solar resource.

  • Analyse photovoltaic solar technology (crystalline silicon, thin film, concentration technology, etc.).

  • Apply computational simulation with the PVsyst programme for the calculation of electrical energy and the design and sizing of photovoltaic solar plants.

  • Dimensioning of photovoltaic solar plants.

  • Know the main civil works infrastructures necessary for the construction of a photovoltaic solar plant as well as the detailed analysis of the low and medium voltage electrical installations and the medium/high voltage electrical substation and evacuation power line.
