PRESENTATION

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 2.2 billion people worldwide do not have access to safe drinking water, and 4.2 billion lack sanitation services. Furthermore, climate change is expected to cause increasingly frequent and devastating droughts and floods. These facts and projections have prompted water companies around the world to launch infrastructure adaptation plans.

Objectives

By the end of the program, students will be able to: - Understand the entire urban water cycle, as well as each of its processes. - Design the infrastructure necessary to support the integrated water cycle. - Operate and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support the integrated water cycle. - Manage projects for the design, expansion, operation, and maintenance of water cycle infrastructure. - Select the best management and operational strategies for companies in the water sector."
