PRESENTATION
This master’s degree program has been designed to provide professionals from various disciplines with the knowledge and skills necessary for applied research and for managing the resources and tools that can be used in the fields of disaster risk management and climate governance. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), climate governance refers to mechanisms and voluntary measures aimed at steering social systems toward prevention, mitigation, or adaptation to the risks caused by climate change (Jagers and Steripple, IPCC glossary).
