Civil Engineering

Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Structural Analysis and Calculation Software

Spanish
Credits: 60 ECTS

PRESENTATION

Objectives

• Refine the fundamentals of structural analysis for various types of building and civil engineering projects. • Implement calculation methodologies—both manual and computational—using finite element and matrix software to solve complex structural challenges. • Analyze actions and forces in structures through a precise stress analysis, identifying critical design points. • Develop solutions for bending, shear, and buckling phenomena, ensuring the integrity and stability of structural members. • Lead the design of shallow foundations, taking into account soil mechanics, effective stresses, and pore pressures. • Incorporate principles of soil mechanics and stability into the design, optimizing materials and load assumptions. • Base technical decisions on the analysis of structural data, applying key concepts to real-world projects. • Promote the implementation of advanced software tools for the verification and optimization of designs in BIM environments.

Methodology

At Educa PHAROS, we use a highly practical methodology focused on the direct application of knowledge in the student’s professional environment, combining theoretical content with real-world cases, digital tools, and support from a team of specialized instructors.
